Health Insurance vs. Healthcare Explained
Health Insurance is NOT Healthcare.
This is a common misconception people have.
The reality, as my guest Priscilla Romans the CEO of Graith Care, LLC states on episode 73 of my podcast, is that being insured is only part of the healthcare equation.
Consumers have been trained to only think about co-pays and co-insurance, and not the actual cost of care.
As a result, insurance premiums go up every year, and more and more routine care keeps being covered under the insurance umbrella.
This is the reason I am a HUGE proponent of Direct Primary Care aka "DPC" because it turns primary care into a fixed cost, improves patient access, and the overall quality of time spent with your primary care physician.
